We are accredited through, and members of, the International Coach Federation (ICF) and the Association for Coaching (AC) - both leading professional bodies dedicated to advancing the coaching profession. Through these professional bodies, we have committed to abide by their respective Code of Ethics.
The ICF Code of Ethics
The International Coach Federation has taken the lead in developing a definition and philosophy of coaching, as well as in establishing ethical standards among its members. Through its own Code of Ethics, Ethical Conduct Review Process, and Independent Review Board (IRB), ICF sets professional coaching standards while also giving consumers a venue to file ethics complaints about ICF Members or ICF Credentialed coaches. Both coaches and the public should be informed about these established codes and processes and the high standards ICF member professional coaches commit to uphold.
The AC Code of Ethics
The Association for Coaching is committed to maintaining excellent coaching practice. Its Code of Ethics and Good Coaching Practice sets out the essential elements of sound ethical practice. The person receiving coaching (the Client) should expect a high standard of practice from their Coach. To ensure that this is achieved coaches commit to operate in accordance with the Association's Code of Ethics and Good Coaching Practice for ethical, competent and effective practice.
